Over the last week I have been able to use a Blendtec blender.  The one I received was a recertified Designer Series Blendtec blender.  As many of you know I have been using the Vitamix blender over the last year or so and I use it to make smoothies on a daily basis (up to 3x per day).

Originally when I was shopping for a high end blender I was going back and forth between Vitamix and Blendtec.  Based on reviews and feedback, I knew I could not go wrong with either one.  I ended up going with Vitamix only because they were on sale at that time.  I have no regrets because I have been very happy with my Vitamix.

However, over the last few months people have asked me what the difference was and I told them what I knew from researching and trying a Blendtec once at my brother's place.  However, now that I have the Blendtec blender, I can finally personally compare the two.  (In future posts I will go into more detail on the comparisons.)

For now, I just wanted to provide my initial thoughts on the Blendtec blender in case you are also researching.  It is a very powerful blender. It definitely matches or slightly exceeds the Vitamix so far when I am making my green smoothies.

Anyone that buys one will be very satisfied.  For me, it blends my smoothie ingredients just as good as the Vitamix.  The nice part on the Blendtec blender I received is that it has a 'smoothie cycle'.  All I have to do is load the container up with my ingredients, then press the smoothie cycle and 40 seconds later, all the items have been mixed and crushed together to make a delicious and healthy smoothie!  There is no doubt in mind that this is one heck of a blender.

I did have to adjust my liquid amounts since the containers are shaped differently, but after 2 smoothies I have it down and the results are fantastic!

The picture below it points out the biggest difference between the two blenders...height.  The Blendtec is going to fit nicely under my counter where the Vitamix cannot.

If you have any detailed questions about the two brands and blenders, please feel free to reach to me.  I am hoping to continue to test out the Blendtec blender to see what else I can use it for.

They are both affiliates on this website because I wanted to offer the best blender brands on the market because I feel drinking smoothies is a great and easy way to eat/drink smoothies.  There are no other blenders I would ever recommend or advertise on here.

If you have ever thought about getting a powerful, high quality blender, this might be the time to do it.  Both brands have sales going on with their reconditioned blenders, which makes them affordable.  For many years I fought the idea of paying so much for an appliance and I sat there and wasted $30 here, $40 there and $100 and then I finally gave in and bought one.  Now it may be the only appliance that I use every single day if not more.

Since I made my purchase my nutrition has never been so clean.  If you are into nutrition, clean eating or improving your health I highly recommend one of these blenders because it will make it a lot easier to consume vegetables and fruits on a daily basis.

If you purchase one now please use the banners on my homepage because they give you free shipping on your orders.

If you have one of these blenders please tell me what you love about them.
